An Open Letter To Dennis Prager And Dave Rubin

Words are important – 50+ years of political correctness have muddied definitions so much that even professionals are misusing words

Going to start this off with a recent post on Facebook – a conservative attacking another conservative over the use of descriptive words to describe the Left.

The gist of the person’s message definitely underlines the confusion many are having with the correct terminology.

Here’s the post left on my Facebook wall, the name covered to keep things anonymous…

So How Do You Respond to THAT spirit?

The spirit in which they delivered their message left them looking more self-righteous and demanding than righteous and commanding.

Commanding is when you learn to persuade people to change on their own accord.

Demanding is when you are dictating to people how to change to your liking.

Commanding is the seed for trust, respect, and honor

Demanding is the seed for mistrust, resentment, and lack of honor – EVERY time…

Here’s how my response, provided here in the text as well as snapshots – the text is provided as the links are not active in the images…

My apologies, would you mind providing a link where such terminology became standardized? I seem to have lost mine based on your post…

Being a former Liberal (not Democrat, there is a difference to be shared below), maybe I can shed some light where you are casting darkness…

A little history that seems to be void in your demands noted above…

The term ‘Liberals‘ has a LONG history and the reason it was originally used was to help Illuminati members know who was with them during introductions.

It separated the Democrats from radical Democrats, the latter of which believed in the globalization of all countries.

Once the word ‘Liberal‘ was used in the introduction they knew that they are safe to talk about their New World Order plans.

See ‘Defining Liberalism‘ in this post: https://decisiveliberty.news/deep-state/intro-to-deep-state-1-when-how-it-all-began/ archive

Today, there ARE Leftists as well as Democrats who are NOT Liberals

Dave Rubin and Brandon Straka are just a few Leftists that are against what Liberals are doing, and are re-anchoring themselves to Liberty and Freedom as they were meant to be.

Yes, there are differences between Leftists as well as Democrats and Conservatism.

However, that is their right which I will defend as they are not attempting to dethrone our laws nor destroy our institutions the way radical Liberals are.

Here, the proper term for people such as Dave Rubin and Brandon Straka would be Democrats, not Liberals nor Leftists.

Denis Prager, owner of PragerU, gets into the difference as he sees in his post here…

https://www.dailysignal.com/2017/09/12/leftism-not-liberalism-differences/ archive

His viewpoint is that Liberals are the culprit and Leftists are not — so who is right in their terminology?

There is apparently an education in play that eventually will have to be addressed.

However, the context of any post will obviously determine who is and who is not for protecting our country.

Whenever we use the term Liberal it is just that, based upon the earliest definition provided noted above.

Given the confusion that abounds today, one should always go back to the basics.

And we have – those wanting to dethrone our law, destroy our peace, and take down our institutions, are Liberals.

Those not wanting to do so are Democrats.

Your anger has blinded you to the fact we also use the term Democrats to separate them from the Liberals. OOPS.

Fear? of not using Jew? Really?

There is no fear of not using the word Jew when saying or using the word ‘anti-Semitic’.

Peter Baum, a practicing Jew and our most ardent writer on anti-Semitism, has absolutely no problem using the word anti-Semitism.

Nor does The Epoch Times, The Washington Times, Breitbart, Paul Watson, David Horowitz, John Solomon, President Donald J. Trump, and many others.

I take it they will receive the same self-righteous lambasting you posted above, yes?

Even the devil knows what anti-Semitism means as well as God.

So am I mistaken to say your gripe sounds more personal than eptimologic? (post-mortem – yeah, I know, that should have been etymologic)

Lastly, anyone demanding what others should say is called censorship.

Censorship is the very thing FB, Twitter, Google, and YouTube love to do and you seem to be so vehemently against based on what is on your Facebook wall…

Or haven’t you noticed?

No one ever gained trust, honor, or respect by DEMANDING what others say – if they had much in the first place, they will eventually lose all 3 once they do.

What Terminology Is a Right Winger Like Dennis Prager Using?

Now let’s look at what the professional commentators are using for terminology…

Dennis Prager, the owner of PragerU, describes Leftists and Liberals in his post here archive

What is the difference between a leftist and a liberal?

Answering this question is vital to understanding the crisis facing America and the West today. Yet few seem able to do it. I offer the following as a guide.

Here’s the first thing to know: The two have almost nothing in common.

On the contrary, liberalism has far more in common with conservatism than it does with leftism.

The left has appropriated the word “liberal” so effectively that almost everyone—liberals, leftists, and conservatives—thinks they are synonymous.

OKaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay… he had me until the next to last sentence — however, he is spot on in the last sentence.

I believe he believed he was not part of almost everyone.

Liberalism versus Democrat

Given the term Liberal as being what it was originally derived to be in the mid-1700s, which was used to identify radical Democrats, we were in agreement up until the last sentence then everything short circuits.

Based upon that definition, Dennis is WAY off on saying Liberalism has far more in common with conservatism than it does with Leftism.

It may be more like Democrats have far more in common with conservatism than it does with Liberalism.

And I am going to say that it is not his fault for this mess up.

Political Correctness Gummed Up the Grease Factory a LONG Time Ago

Let’s remember, we have been politically corrected on so many things by our Liberal-run education system as well as through our Liberal-biased news for more than half a century – these are two of the favorite channels for the Deep state to control a population.

The press has been the Mockingbird press all that time and the education system has been controlled by the Left all that time as well.

Blend those two together and you have an unthinking populace that wants to be told what to think and what words to use so as to be politically correct.

It even affects those who believe they are immune from political correctness as well as the 21-minutes of Mockingbird news every night.

What Terminology is a Left Winger Like Dave Rubin Using?

Now there is Dave Rubin, who has distanced himself from radical Liberals as he is not supportive of their violence, attacks, and derogatory ways as of late.

What does Dave have to say? You only have to listen to the first minute or two, feel free to listen to the whole thing as he does make some good points for his decision.

He calls the radical Left the regressive Left – that’s good…

Then he notes he believes in Classic Liberalism…

Wait, stop…  rewind that…

The Original Use of the Word Liberal

Let’s go to that section ‘Defining Liberalsm’ I noted earlier and look at how the world Liberal came about…

Now as a matter of further intelligence, a term used by the FBI, let me clarify the meaning of the expression ‘he is a liberal.’

Defining Liberalism

The enemy,
meaning the one-world conspirators,
have seized upon the word ‘liberal’
as a cover-up for their activities.

It sounds so innocent and so humanitarian to be liberal.

Well, make sure that the person who calls himself a liberal or is described as a liberal is not in truth a ‘red’.

Note the term ‘red’ at that time (the mid-1960s) was referring to communism, which was trying to make its presence known in the U.S. after having conquered most of Northern and Eastern Asia via Russia and China. Today we know that Communism was the brain-child of Albert Pike, the most influential person during the mid-to-late 1800s to get the Illuminati to grow and further the goals and desires of the Rothschild family.

Back to what Dave said – he said, “beliefs in Classic Liberalism”… I fully believe he does not understand the derivation of the word Liberal either, otherwise, would he have not used Classic Democrat or Classic anything-else-than-Liberal?

Sooooooooo, now what?

What Do You Do When Confusion Abounds?

You always stop everything and go back to the basics.

As we are using words, that would be etymology – the history, derivation, and use of words.

The Online Etymology Dictionary gives a rather laborious definition of Liberal archive

However, I believe we all can agree that the overall impact of the word Liberal means someone who will talk freely, without any consideration for anything – or anyone – else.

The first paragraph of the definition and history is not too inviting either…

mid-14c. (note: mid-14th century), “generous,” also “nobly born, noble, free;” from late 14c. as “selfless, magnanimous, admirable;” from early 15c. in a bad sense, “extravagant, unrestrained,” from Old French liberal “befitting free people; noble, generous; willing, zealous” (12c.), and directly from Latin liberalis “noble, gracious, munificent, generous,” literally “of freedom, pertaining to or befitting a free person,” from liber “free, unrestricted, unimpeded; unbridled, unchecked, licentious.”

More of their definition and history of Liberal…

Liberal was used 16c.-17c. as a term of reproach with the meaning “free from restraint in speech or action.” The Enlightenment revived it in a positive sense “free from prejudice, tolerant, not bigoted or narrow,” which emerged in 1776-88. In 19c. often theological rather than political, opposed to orthodox, used of Unitarians, Universalists, etc.

Purely in reference to political opinion, “tending in favor of freedom and democracy,” it dates from c. 1801, from the French libéral. In English, the label at first was applied by opponents (often in the French form and with suggestions of foreign lawlessness) to the party more favorable to individual political freedoms. But also (especially in U.S. politics) tends to mean “favorable to government action to effect social change,” which seems at times to draw more from the religious sense of “free from prejudice in favor of traditional opinions and established institutions” (and thus open to new ideas and plans of reform), which dates from 182

hhhmmmmmmmmm…

Clearing the Confusion

Already conflicts in both Dennis’s and Dave’s use of the word Liberalism…

Do note that this definition of Liberal is conservative when it comes to the term Liberal Arts – another topic for another day.

Now, what about the term ‘Democrat’?

1790, “adherent or advocate of democracy,” with reference to France, from French démocrate (18c., opposed to aristocrat), back-formation from démocratie (see democracy); formally revived in the U.S. as a political party affiliation 1798, with a capital D. As a shortening of this, Demo (1793) is older than Dem (c. 1840). An earlier noun for “adherent of democracy” was democratian (1650s).

Now that this definition fits into what both Dennis and Dave want to say – but seem to be using the wrong words.

Is This What They Really Meant to Say?

It sounds like Dave believes in being a Classic Democrat as opposed to Classic Liberalism

And it sounds like Dennis should have said, “On the contrary, Democrats far more in common with conservatism than it does with Liberalism.

As for the word Leftism? From the Online Etymology Dictionary, it is short and sweet… or at least short…

leftism (n.)
1917, from left in the political sense + -ism

That is VERY general and VERY broad – Liberalism is not, nor is a Democrat, nor Conservative, Republican, Libertarian, Constitutionalist…

How about we revisit the basics of the words we are using – they have power and influence, and using them the wrong way will only muddy up what we are trying to correct.

Words Count

Everything around us was created just with the mention of the words, “Let there be Light!” and there was light…

He did not say, “Let there be a void of darkness!” nor did He say, “Let there be something that shines!”

Like the definition provided for Leftism, God was direct, succinct, and spot-on.

We need to be as well as our words, though they will not create a physical universe, they are creating universes within each person.

We want those universes to be working with one another, not against – even if their ideologies differ.0

BANNED DOCUMENTARY: Conspiracy Of Silence (1993)

Conspiracy Of Silence Is a documentary film detailing an alleged child sex scandal that involved many children from a Nebraska Institution, Boys Town, and Lawrence King - or Lawrence "Larry" King.

The organized child sex parties implicated the Reagan and Bush White House during the 1980s.

King was the ringleader of the sex ring which had links to other fellow political conservatives in Washington D.C., including

  • Republican Lobbyist Craig J. Spence
  • Sen. Elizabeth Dole's Staff, along with
  • members of the financial elite of Nebraska

It features former CIA Director William Colby talking about the high-level child kidnap and sex-slave ring.

The book that was the basis of this movie can be found by clicking here.

Reflections from Decisive Liberty

The following stance is stated in the final paragraph of the oration given for the unveiling of our Statue of Liberty on the 28th of October, 1886....

... there is room in America and brotherhood for all who will support our institutions and aid in our development; but those who come to disturb our peace and dethrone our laws are aliens and enemies forever.

You can view the full oration by clicking here.

We at Decisive Liberty are committed to this stance and welcome all - if you have not already - to join us in learning to live by this stance.

There are only 2 nations that have placed God within their Constitution: one was created by God for the people He loves, the other created by the people who love Him.
