One of our many sources of information we follow comes from the Rutherford Institute – a constitutional law and human rights organization (more about the institute is available with the video below).

To quote Ronald Reagan on the lack of trustworthiness of any government, “I’m from the government and I am here to help” are 9 words that should make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

Even our founding Fathers realized there is a need for limited government and a greater need for the power to be in the hands of the people, not the other way around.

Yet, every left-wing fanatic will tell you otherwise — they want bigger government, to have the government to be the answer to everything, and to have everyone on board with their “government is the answer for the greater good of the people”, a phrase that is found in the roots of Marxism and Socialism for starters and now embraced by the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

Whenever anyone undertakes a study of the roots and beginnings of the DNC, it does not take too long to see the ties to

  • the KKK
  • the Progressivism of Woodrow Wilson, and
  • the works focused on an overall devaluation of life by Hillary Clinton’s hero Margaret Sanger –

All of these are threads that do not belong in a country that proclaims ‘In God We Trust’ as these people are constantly trying to shift that trust from God to government, in essence making government a god to the people.

There are, however, a growing number of Democrats that are against most, if not all, this and are embracing Classic Liberalism (such as David Rubin of the Rubin Report) and have in the past 18 months or so started making their voice heard.

We are only as strong as our weakest link — and that includes human rights, a matter that John D. Whitehead, the speaker in this video, has made a lifelong career and pursuit.

About This Video

It’s easy to denounce the full-frontal horrors carried out by the scientific and medical community within a totalitarian regime such as Nazi Germany.

However, what do you do with a government that claims to be a champion of human rights while allowing its agents to engage in the foulest and most despicable acts of torture, abuse, and human experimentation?

Mind you, the U.S. government has seldom had its citizens’ best interests at heart – truthfully, no government has saved for our Founding Fathers and Lincoln.

The government didn’t have our best interests at heart when it passed laws subjecting us to all kinds of invasive searches and surveillance, censoring our speech, and stifling our expression.

It didn’t have our best interests at heart when it turned America into a battlefield and transformed law enforcement agencies into extensions of the military.

Certainly, the government did not have our best interests at heart when it conducted secret experiments on an unsuspecting populace—citizens and non-citizens alike—making healthy people sick by spraying them with chemicals, injecting them with infectious diseases, and exposing them to airborne toxins.

Bottom line: a government that repeatedly lies, breaks the laws, overreaches its authority, and abuses its power can’t be trusted.

Reflections from Decisive Liberty

The following stance is stated in the final paragraph of the oration given for the unveiling of our Statue of Liberty on the 28th of October, 1886....

... there is room in America and brotherhood for all who will support our institutions and aid in our development; but those who come to disturb our peace and dethrone our laws are aliens and enemies forever.

We at Decisive Liberty are committed to this stance and welcome all - if you have not already - to join us in learning to live by this stance.

There are only two nations that have placed God within their Constitution and way of life - one was created by God for the people he loves, and the other was created by people who love God.
