As a nation, we have lost our focus, even now
From our very first President, and repeated by several of the Founding Fathers as well:
However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.
They knew once the focus of the population and the government was off the Constitution and onto political ambitions that would include unjust causes spearheaded by unprincipled men.
Where we focus is where we end up
So, where are we?
Compared to what Washington and our Founding Fathers warned us about, exactly where they warned us.
Whose voices are you listening to?
We end up believing what we keep hearing, we end up believing what people we surround ourselves keep saying…
Who among you really KNOWS the Constitution and WHY the Founding Fathers crafted both our Declaration of Independence as well as our Constitution as they did?
They have written their feelings about many things in the process of crafting both — our schools have hidden it from us (perhaps because the Left has been in control of what textbooks the schools can purchase?) yet it is readily available for the asking online in the Library of Congress as well as our National Archives…
Changing your focus and who you listen to will change where you will end up
Idealistically, we need to ditch ALL political parties however too many use politics as a pacifier instead of a means to debate.
So, the next Convention of the States needs to address what to do next — the American people have been duped since the 1960’s, and most are totally unaware just how badly they have been lead astray.
There are grassroots writers that understand this and are gaining ground much to the chagrin of the MSM, Deep State, the Left, RINOs…
Seems anyone that is chagrined by grassroots writers have bought the dupe — lock, stock an barrel…
They will live, and so will we IF we decide to do what is needed and stop pretending we don’t…
