The Prejudice of CNN in ‘Breaking’ the Slave Trade in Libya

EDITOR’s NOTES: Cheri Berens of is an extremely reliable source in the Middle East and we are very honored to have her trust as well.  The following is a post she shared on Facebook that needs to be known — this involves CNN and their continuous misreporting of the news. Yet, on Monday, 27-November-2017 they published a post that focused on fake news, saying that using that term oversimplifies a complex problem. Cheri is reporting on the slave trade in the Middle East, especially Libya – and the innocent lives being ignored en mass – as well as the patheticness of CNN (once again, that is). Some say it is only one news organization — forgetting that responsibility and accountability goes to the source in ALL stories. This story spread from the original CNN report, so it doesn’t matter that people aren’t watching CNN as much. On Twitter you can see many various news websites pick up the story — and then hundreds (even thousands and millions) of people then bought into the racist angle. CNN is good at that, creating a lie that spreads.

When anyone or any organization is focused on what is real, focused on the truth, tests their beliefs at every turn, then there is nothing so complex about it. When one has character, the ONLY thing that is complex is what to do with the guilty part – when one lacks character, everything is complex as you scramble to justify… Not to mention the guilty party is ALWAYS the least affected by their actions.

Cheri’s post begins…

It’s been in the news, and all over Twitter for days, that there is a slave trade going on in Libya.

CNN “broke” the story.

First, I want to point out that the slave trade has never ended.

The Character of the Middle East Trade Slave

Muslims have continued selling slaves for centuries, they just do it more secretly.

But recently there has been a rise in the slave trade in Egypt, Nigeria, Sudan and Ethiopia (where large communities of Christians remain).

This growth in the slave trade began with the Arab Spring.

Then, ISIS catapulted slavery into the common place.

Muslims love the idea of having slaves.

Especially sex slaves.

But even before the Arab Spring, Saudi Arabians and members of other Gulf countries came to Egypt to buy young girls as slaves.

The Arab Spring and ISIS just made slavery expand.

CNN’s Prejudice Skews Reality

Troubling to me, was that

the focus of CNN was “black” slavery.

CNN didn’t mention that light skinned females and white women go for the highest prices at these slave markets.

CNN also did not mention that many of these slaves are Christian.

In Egypt (and elsewhere in Africa), Christian girls are kidnapped and sold as slaves.

And, the lighter their skin, the higher their price.

Traditionally, Muslims have always prized light skinned females for their sex slaves.

Additionally, in the early days of the Arab Slave Trade, Eastern European women with very light skin went for enormous prices.

The lighter the skin, the higher the price.

I’ve seen the archives on slavery in Egypt, and it’s no secret that “white slavery” was a very profitable business.

CNN did not mention that the Libyan slave trade
is run by Muslims.

CNN did not mention that the history of slavery in Libya
has always been done by Muslims.

CNN did not mention that whites are being sold as slaves
as well as blacks.

Considering all of the hatred against whites that I saw as a result of CNN’s reporting, I’m thinking this was the main reason why CNN reported only on the “black” part, to fester more anti-white sentiment.

CNN always has a devious agenda.

Starting in January of 2011, and throughout 2011, CNN lied about events taking place in Egypt.

Then in 2012, CNN continuously reported that the Muslim Brotherhood was creating a “democracy” in Egypt.

This was a lie.

As soon as the Muslim Brotherhood took power in 2012, they wrote an Islamic Law Constitution, removed 3500 judges (they were removing the judicial system and replacing it with Islamic Law) and they created an Islamic Militia to replace the police.

Meanwhile, CNN continued to lie — even though they had reporters stationed in Cairo and witnessed things firsthand.

Often, CNN’s top anchormen and reporters were reporting live on the streets.

On TV we’d see them interviewing known Muslim Brotherhood members, and never an average citizen. CNN is extremely corrupt.

And give this some thought, how did CNN even get inside the slave auction house in Libya?

These places are kept highly under wraps.

Example of CNN Prejudice on the Child Slave Trade

Lastly, something that has always bothered me.

In 2014, Boko Haram (who have since joined ISIS) kidnapped 276 Christian girls.

The majority of these girls were sold or given as slaves.

Most were forced to convert to Islam.

Those who did not, were tortured and killed.

But when CNN reported the story, why didn’t they report that the girls were Christian?

(note: 3 Muslim girls were accidentally taken during the kidnapping, but were released as soon as Boko Haram discovered they were Muslim).

Nigeria’s government and Islamic extremists from Boko Haram have agreed to an immediate cease-fire, officials said Friday Oct. 17, 2014. The fate of more than 200 missing schoolgirls abducted by the insurgents six months ago remains unclear. Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade said their release is still being negotiated. (AP Photo/File)
