How President Trump Saw the Iran Protests Coming

Months before the protests that are shaking the Islamic Republic of Iran began, President Trump stood before the entire world at the United Nations and boldly declared that the terror regime would fall.

“The good people of Iran want change, and, other than the vast military power of the United States, that Iran’s people are what their leaders fear the most,” he correctly predicted.

As another day of protests begins, as the Islamist thugs of the IRGC face a choice between an outraged populace and a failing regime, his words in that September speech ring truer than ever.

Our World: The Iranian Explosion of Truth

If the Iranian regime is unable to brutally stomp out the countrywide protests raging through the country, and if the protesters achieve their goal of bringing down the regime, they will go down in history as the saviors of millions of people not just in Iran but throughout the world.

Given the earth shattering potential of the protests it is extraordinary to see the liberal media in the US and Europe struggle to downplay their significance.

Aside from a lukewarm statement on Twitter from British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson, as of Monday morning – five days into the protests – no senior European official had spoken in favor of the hundreds of thousands of Iranians marching throughout their country demanding freedom.

Iranian People’s Call for Freedom While President Trump – Unlike Obama – Sides With the Protesters

he Iranian regime is facing the most serious threat from mass protests in the streets since the failed Green Revolution in 2009.

What started out as scattered unrest over unemployment, rising food prices, costly military adventures and corruption has morphed into widespread anger at the country’s theocracy itself and its Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

While Iran’s figurehead President Hassan Rouhani called for calm and claimed that people had the right to protest under Iran’s Constitution, riot police have lashed out at demonstrators, some of whom were reportedly heard chanting “death to the dictator,” “death to Khamenei,” “we don’t want an Islamic Republic,” and “clerics should get lost.”

Iranian Protester Tells Israeli TV: The Regime Has To Fall

In an interview with an Israeli television station on Sunday, an Iranian anti-regime protester said that the brutally suppressed protests of 2009 have shown the Iranian people that the only way in which they can gain the rights they deserve is if the ayatollahs’ regime falls.

The protester, who was shown with his features blurred and used the pseudonym Muhsan, told Channel 10 TV that the Iranian people were “taking to the streets spontaneously in most cities in Iran” and have concluded that they must “get to the root” of Iran’s problems — “the regime and the leadership.”

Iranian authorities have alleged that the US, UK, and Israel have been fomenting unrest in the country.

The U.S. holiday shopping season is on track to break sales records on the back of surging consumer confidence and increased use of mobile devices, presenting an unexpected boon for retailers and the delivery companies they rely on.

The holiday shopping season, a crucial period for retailers that can account for up to 40 percent of annual sales, brought record-breaking online and in-store spending this year of more than $800 billion, according to Mastercard Inc’s analytics arm.

Stakes are particularly high this year for traditional retailers that have invested heavily in technology and free delivery and returns, determined to stay relevant in a market increasingly dominated by Amazon.com Inc.

Pearl Harbor: Why Hawaii Was Surprised and FDR Was Not

Posted by James Perloff in The New American

On Sunday, December 7, 1941, Japan launched a sneak attack on the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor, shattering the peace of a beautiful Hawaiian morning and leaving much of the fleet broken and burning.

The destruction and death that the Japanese military visited upon Pearl Harbor that day — 18 naval vessels (including eight battleships) sunk or heavily damaged, 188 planes destroyed, over 2,000 servicemen killed — were exacerbated by the fact that American commanders in Hawaii were caught by surprise.

But that was not the case in Washington.

Comprehensive research has shown not only that Washington knew in advance of the attack, but that it deliberately withheld its foreknowledge from our commanders in Hawaii in the hope that the “surprise” attack would catapult the U.S. into World War II.

Oliver Lyttleton, British Minister of Production, stated in 1944: “Japan was provoked into attacking America at Pearl Harbor. It is a travesty of history to say that America was forced into the war.”

Although FDR desired to directly involve the United States in the Second World War, his intentions sharply contradicted his public pronouncements.

A pre-war Gallup poll showed 88 percent of Americans opposed U.S. involvement in the European war.

Citizens realized that U.S. participation in World War I had not made a better world, and in a 1940 (election-year) speech, Roosevelt typically stated: “I have said this before, but I shall say it again and again and again: Your boys are not going to be sent into any foreign wars.”

But privately, the president planned the opposite.

The Prejudice of CNN in ‘Breaking’ the Slave Trade in Libya

It’s been in the news, and all over Twitter for days, that there is a slave trade going on in Libya.

CNN “broke” the story.

First, I want to point out that the slave trade has never ended.

Muslims have continued selling slaves for centuries, they just do it more secretly.

But recently there has been a rise in the slave trade in Egypt, Nigeria, Sudan and Ethiopia (where large communities of Christians remain).

This growth in the slave trade began with the Arab Spring.

Then, ISIS catapulted slavery into the common place.

Muslims love the idea of having slaves.

Especially sex slaves.

But even before the Arab Spring, Saudi Arabians and members of other Gulf countries came to Egypt to buy young girls as slaves.

The Arab Spring and ISIS just made slavery expand.
